Concerns about the weather have put the fizzle on Terre Haute’s Fourth of July fireworks show this year.
Mayor Duke Bennett confirmed Saturday afternoon that the city’s fireworks display, planned for July Fourth near Fairbanks Park, has been postponed until further notice.
“Possibly Labor Day Weekend, but it’s unlikely to be any sooner than that,” he said, noting weather conditions will be the deciding factor.
