TERRE HAUTE — Union Hospital’s Maternal Health Clinic is continuing to vaccinate pregnant women and women who have given birth within the past six weeks for H1N1.
Those interested in receiving the vaccine should call the Maternal Health Clinic before arrival at (812) 238-7301. The Maternal Health Clinic’s hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Vigo County Health Department will conduct several H1N1 clinics for children 6 months to 18 years of age at the following times:
• 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today;
• 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday;
• 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The H1N1 clinics will be conducted at the Vigo County Annex at First and Oak streets. Both the H1N1 nasal mist and H1N1 injectable (the shot) will be available for free. However, the nasal mist will be administered to anyone 3 to 18 years old unless a parent/legal guardian can provide written documentation from a physician stating why the child shouldn’t receive the nasal mist. A parent or legal guardian must accompany a child to the clinic for the child to receive the H1N1 vaccine.
