BLACKHAWK — An accidental shooting near Blackhawk is being investigated by the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim is a 40-year-old male, but the extent of his injuries was unavailable Monday.
The incident occurred around 11:22 p.m. Friday. The man told police he was coming out of a mobile home with the gun and accidentally shot himself.
He was transported to a medical facility for treatment.
