TERRE HAUTE — Some computer users in the Wabash Valley experienced Internet service problems Wednesday because of trouble with an “upstream provider” of Internet service.
Officials with Joink, a Terre Haute-based technology services company, said the company was working with an “upstream provider” to resolve the problem late Wednesday morning and into the afternoon.
It was not clear whether customers using Internet providers other than Joink were being affected, a Joink official said.
Two other Internet providers in the Wabash Valley, including Sullivan On Line Services, contacted by the Tribune-Star reported no problems with connections Wednesday.
