TERRE HAUTE — Leaf pickup
• Weather permitting, the City of Terre Haute will be picking up leaves between Fourth Street and Fruitridge Avenue, Fort Harrison to Maple Ave today through Friday.
Property taxes
• Fall property taxes in Vigo County are due Nov. 10.
• Payments can be made at seven banks in the county. Those banks are First Financial, Old National, Terre Haute Savings Bank, Regions, Harris, Fifth Third and Riddell National Bank.
• Also, the Vigo County Treasurer’s office will have extended hours. The office will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Also, the office will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 9 and Nov. 10.
• Payments also can be made online with a credit card through AME Group, which charges a 2.95 percent fee. Payment can be made at www.vigotax.net or by calling 1-800-809-5849.
