TERRE HAUTE — The family of U.S. Army Sgt. Dale Russel Griffin has established the Dale Russel Griffin Memorial Fund. Contributions can be made through the Wabash Valley Community Foundation or at any First Financial Bank location. Griffin, 29, a 1999 Terre Haute South Vigo High School graduate, was killed last week while serving in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Funeral arrangements for Griffin have been made. Griffin’s body will be flown into Terre Haute International Airport on Monday. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1845 N. 61/2 St. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Nov. 11 in Terre Haute South Vigo High School. Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery.
