Vigo County Jail Log: Feb. 20, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were Booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

James B. Lee, 46, 4600 block of Fruitridge Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 9:36 a.m. Court order.

Matt McBride, 26, 1000 block of South 22nd Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:32 a.m. Theft.

Jamie J. Cottingham, 36, 300 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:20 a.m. Failure to appear, criminal confinement (two counts) and Battery-domestic (two counts).

Dashaon T. Askew, 37, no address. Booked 11:59 a.m. Court order.

Michael Lane Jr., 20, 1400 block of Park Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:34 p.m. Invasion of privacy and driver never licensed.

Danielle L. Harris, 32, 1400 block of Ohio Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:24 p.m. Parole violation.

Daniel S. Crowther, 28, 1100 block of North 13th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:52 p.m. Failure to appear (four counts) and possession of a methamphetamine.

Brandon C. Woodson, 22, 8000 block of Arrowwood Court, Terre Haute. Booked 6:09 p.m. Failure to appear.

Rodney W. Good, 44, 400 block of South 21st Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:32 p.m. Battery-domestic.

Joshua L. Fields, 22, 1400 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:16 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Wednesday

Maurice Shingles, 56, 2200 block of Liberty Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:04 a.m. Invasion of privacy.

Christopher Eversole, 29, 800 block of North 39th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:28 a.m. Unauthorized entry of motor vehicle.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
