TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.



Friday

• Javier I. Garrett, 23, 2800 block of North 15th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:21 a.m. Failure to appear.

• James E. Norton, 55, 1700 block of North 30th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:03 p.m. Public intoxication and criminal trespassing.

• Brian S. Phillips, 36, 1000 block of East Washington Street, Indianapolis. Booked 2:35 p.m. Probation violation.

• Willie L. Jenkins, 36, 800 block of Cruft Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:58 p.m. Probation violation, battery-domestic and false reporting.

• Michael R. Sparks, 22, 1300 block of East Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:43 p.m. Possession of marijuana/hash and possession of paraphernalia.

• Devin R. Pressley, 20, 4200 block of East Hall Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11 p.m. Possession of marijuana/hash and possession of paraphernalia.



Saturday

• Sabrina M. Selvaggio, 20, Lincoln Quad, ISU, Terre Haute. Booked 12:39 a.m. Public intoxication.

• Milton A. Brinza, 20, 4400 block of Andrew Ryan Place, Terre Haute. Booked 12:40 a.m. Public intoxication and minor consuming.

• Matthew A. Postell, 21, 1000 block of South Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:34 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

• Robert Allen, 27, 3400 block of East Crystal Creek Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 4:00 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

• Cameron T. Steele, 20, 5000 block of Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:18 a.m. Operating while intoxicated, possession of marijuana/hash, possession of paraphernalia and minor consuming.

• Michael J. Kizer, 36, 700 block of South Center Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:37 a.m. Battery-domestic.

• Robert J. Grant, 24, 10 block of Greenbriar Court, Whiteland. Booked 6:42 a.m. Battery-domestic.

• Paradise A. Bradford, 23, 1000 block of North Ninth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:42 a.m. Residential entry and public intoxication.

• Ashley L. Pickard, 21, 2300 block of Thomas Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:07 p.m. Driving while suspended and failure to appear.

• Melvin R. Bell, 28, 200 block of Kent Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 2:49 p.m. Burglary, criminal confinement, pointing a firearm, battery-domestic and theft.

• Fredrick E. Coe, 34, 600 block of Oak Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:32 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Thomas G. Beasley, 52, 23800 block of East Fern Lake Road, Dennison, Ill. Booked 7:22 p.m. Failure to appear and false reporting.

• Kenny Z. Simmons, 27, 500 block of Old Royse Road, Terre Haute. Booked 7:44 p.m. Criminal conversion.

• Deresa J. Brown, 34, 1400 block of Third Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 8:36 p.m. Bond revocation.

• Felicia N. Harris, 19, 8100 block of Grove Berry Drive, Indianapolis. Booked 9:27 p.m. Criminal conversion.

• Christopher M. Brown, 22, 500 block of East 431⁄2 Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 9:30 p.m. Failure to appear (four counts).

• Donald G. Skelton, 57, 3600 block of East Tuttle Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:18 p.m. Battery-domestic and interference crime.



Sunday

• Lafaette Garrett, 29, 1700 block of North 16th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:04 a.m. Probation violation.

• Robin N. Pierre, 22, 400 block of South Jackson Street, South Bend. Booked 2:16 a.m. Public intoxication.

• John Haggerty, 22, 2000 block of South Fifth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:02 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

• Cory M. Rutan, 29, 10 block of South 17th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:38 a.m. Public intoxication and failure to appear.



Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
