Vigo County Jail Log: Dec. 26, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Monday

Emmanuel Dareon Jones, 20, 2000 block of Ash Street, Terre Haute, booked 6:24 p.m. Failure to appear, possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana.

Tuesday

Jason W. Sickles, 38, 3100 block of East Hollywood Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 8:15 a.m. Battery.

Rebecca Kirkman, 35, 400 block of South 15th Street, Terre Haute, booked 2:43 p.m. Domestic battery.

Theodore W. Braun, 47, 1000 block of Lockport Drive, Terre Haute, booked 7:02 p.m. Disorderly conduct, public intoxication, resisting law enforcement, battery on police.

Randy W. Dispennett, 42. 300 block of West Miller Avenue, West Terre Haute, booked 10:48 p.m. Possession of paraphernalia.

Wednesday

Shawn L. Stephens, 24, 1000 block of South 25th Street, Terre Haute, booked 1:47 a.m. Failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
