Vigo County Jail Log: June 14, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Christian S. Footman, 19, 1500 block of Third Ave., Terre Haute, was booked at 1029 a.m. Wednesday. Court order.

Jonathan Beatty, 28, under the 100th block of Home Ave., Terre Haute, was booked at 11:56 a.m. Wednesday. Court order.

Rachel  Lozano, 22, under the 100th block of Home Ave., Terre Haute, was booked at 12:39 p.m. Wednesday. Court order.

Blake E. Hopkins, 29, 8700 block of Wabash Ave., Terre Haute, was booked at 4:19 p.m. Wednesday. Probation violation.

Amanda J. Kelley, 25, 1200 block of North Ninth St., Terre Haute, was booked at 7:39 p.m. Wednesday. Probation violation.

Jeffrey L. Elkins, 29, 700 block of S. Railroad St.,  Jasonville, was booked at 8:49 p.m. Wednesday. Probation violation.

Robert I. Weaver, 42, 1400 block of South Sixth, Terre Haute, was booked at 9:24 p.m. Wednesday. Failure to appear two counts.|

Phillip Barker, 21, 1900 block of Tippecanoe, Terre Haute, was booked at 12:05 a.m. Thursday. Battery-domestic.

David T. Byers, 44, 2100 block of North 23rd St., Terre Haute, was booked at 2:24 a.m. Thursday. Failure to appear.

Mark A. Hensley, 29, 1100 block of South 20th, Terre Haute, was booked at 3:16 a.m. Thursday. Operating while intoxicated and bond revocation.

Danny A. Goodwin, 21, no address given, Terre Haute, was booked at 6:41 a.m. Thursday. Failure to appear.

 Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
