24th arrest made in drug probe; 5 more sought

TERRE HAUTE — Police have arrested another Terre Haute man wanted in a roundup of suspects involved in drug activity in Vigo County, and five more suspects are being sought.

Bryant E. Mahurin, 33, was booked into the Vigo County Jail at 7:26 p.m. Saturday on a warrant for dealing in a look-alike substance.

His arrest brings to 24 the number of people facing drug-related charges through an investigation by  members of the Vigo County Drug Task Force, along with members of the Terre Haute Police Department, Vigo County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police, U.S. Marshal’s Service, the Safe Streets Task Force, and local canine units.

Five other people remain wanted on warrants issued through the Vigo County Courts. They are identified by police as: Anthony Sheehy, Darion Wilson, Matthew Beeler, Sidney Bolden and Ashlie Ware Foster.
