TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Monday

Danielle L. Harris, 32, 1400 block of Ohio Street, Terre Haute, booked 8:35 a.m. Parole violation.

Justin J. Schane, 20, 8200 block of East Ridgeview Court, Rockville, booked 9:11 a.m. Parole violation.

Brian W. Acklin, 39, 2000 block of Plum Street, Terre Haute, booked 9:32 a.m. Probation violation.

Richard Dickerson Jr., 36, 2200 block of North 25th Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:34 a.m. Failure to appear.

Crystal Vicars Abel, 30, Tell City, booked 2:27 p.m. Theft.

Christa B. Mason, 29, 1400 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 2:32 p.m. Theft.

Joshua C. Julian, 23, Merom, booked 4:04 p.m. Court order.

Joshua A. Smith, 29, 1400 block of Chestnut Street, Terre Haute, booked 5:39 p.m. Probation violation.

Margaret Shook, 28, 1600 block of Fifth Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 8:05 p.m. Invasion of privacy.

Ernest L. Hoopingarner, 39, 5100 block of U.S. 40, West Terre Haute, booked 8:30 p.m. Failure to appear.

Ashley N. Rudisel, 27, Brazil, booked 9:48 p.m. Habitual traffic violator, forgery, receiving stolen property.

Jason L. Buchanan, 23, 2100 block of Linden Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:15 p.m. Failure to appear.

Justin R. Crowe, 24, 100 block of North Eighth, West Terre Haute, booked 11 p.m. Dealing controlled substance.

Rodney D. Woods, 53, 1100 block of South Eighth Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:19 p.m. Public intoxication.

Shane L. Corey, 24, 2600 block of Crawford Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:28 p.m. Court order, failure to appear, resisting law enforcement.

Lafaette Garrett, 29, 2400 block of South 19th Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:29 p.m. Bond revocation.

Kelly J. Hedges, 25, 700 block of South Eighth Street, West Terre Haute, booked 11:31 p.m. Possession of paraphernalia, driving while suspended.

Harold L. Poulter, 47, 5300 block of East Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:51 p.m. Driving while intoxicated.

Tuesday

Beatrice Travis, 29, Brazil, booked 12:26 a.m. Driving while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
