BRAZIL — One person has died as the result of a traffic accident at the intersection of Indiana 42 and Indiana 59 south of Brazil in Clay County. The Clay County Sheriff’s Department reports that the accident occurred around 1:15 p.m. when a sport-utility vehicle collided with a semi-tractor trailer. The SUV became pinned under the trailer, and the driver of the SUV died. As of 4:45 p.m., traffic was again moving through the area of the crash, which is just south of Interstate 70.
