Vigo County Jail Log: July 31, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.



Monday

• Randy Pyles, 34, 400 block of West Riggy Avenue, Sandford, 9:36 a.m. Driving while suspended and criminal recklessness.

• Kelly J. Fitzsimmons, 34, 6700 block of North Cedarwood Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:52 a.m. Failure to appear.

• Ralph B. Reagan, 38, 8700 block East Pleasant O’Haver Street, Carlisle, booked 12:54 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Philip C. Powell, 38, no address given, Harmony, booked 7:43 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Zachary Buckhoy, 18, 2100 block of North 22nd Street, Terre Haute, booked 8:38 p.m. Criminal trespass and failure to appear.

• Cavin B. Sparks, 22, 800 block of South 10th Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:53 p.m. Battery.

• Todd A. Snow, 45, 3700 block of South Wellington Place, Terre Haute, booked 11:26 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Tuesday

• Carl D. Taylor, 47, 8500 block of East Old Maple Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 12:39 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

• James E. Williams, 52, 2100 block of Putnam Street, Terre Haute, booked 5:48 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Chad M. Anderson, 38, 2100 block of Putnam Street, Terre Haute, booked 5:49 p.m. Failure to appear.

 

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
