Vigo County Jail Log: Feb. 26, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Monday

James M. Crabb, 28, 10 block of Fourth Street, Carbon. Booked 12:20 p.m. Court order.

Jesse Cooper, 19, 100 block of West Wheeler Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 2:32 p.m. Battery.

Danielle R. Sanders, 40, 1300 block of Chestnut Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:12 p.m. Probation violation.

Melissa L. Katopodis, 42, 10 block of North 22nd Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5 p.m. Failure to appear.

Joshua M. Gatewood, 25, 800 block of South Fifth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:47 p.m. Failure to appear.

Donald E. Francis, 24, 300 block of  North State Line Place, West Terre Haute. Booked 8:13 p.m. Probation violation.

James A. Grove III, 31, 800 block of East Sunset Pike Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 8:18 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Donald P. Denehie, 47, 1100 block of East Heartwood Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 9:43 p.m. Receiving stolen property and driving while suspended.

Tuesday

Durend Randall, 29, 2400 block of South 19th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:06 a.m. Battery-domestic.

Erica A. McCarter, 22, 2300 block of Liberty Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:56 a.m. Failure to appear.

Robert J. Noble, 46, 1400 block of Chestnut Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:22 a.m. Parole violation.

Raul Hernandez, 48, no address. Booked 6:31 a.m. Court order.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
