Vigo County Jail Log: Sept. 27, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Wednesday

Sasha N. Osborn, 21, 8500 block of North Castle Street, Terre Haute, booked 7:15 a.m. Public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Walt Brightwell, 18, 6300 block of South U.S. Hwy 41, Terre Haute, booked 10:09 a.m. Battery.

Edward K. Britt, 26, 500 block of North 13th 1/2 Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:27 a.m. Failure to appear.

Tasja Protho, 18, under the 100th block of Pairtree Lane, Terre Haute, booked 12:02 p.m. Battery.

Michael L. Coleman, 33, 300 block of Kent Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 12:52 p.m. Failure to appear.

Lisa M. Montgomery, 52, 1400 block of South Hulman Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:45 p.m. Bond revocation (two counts) and probation violation.  

Justin C. Hurtt, 23, no address given, Terre Haute, booked 4:30 p.m. Criminal trespass.

Shane L. Kimsey, 21, 2500 block of North 15th 1/2 Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:43 p.m. Criminal trespass.

Odus L. Tucker, 55, 900 block of North Court Street, Sullivan, booked 7:51 p.m. Failure to appear.

Robert L. Eyre, 25, 3800 block of Old Paris Road, West Terre Haute, booked 8:51 p.m. Possession controlled substance and criminal conversion (two counts).

Thursday

Julius R. Evans, 21, 2400 block of Cleveland Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 12:29 a.m. Probation violation.

Jesse C. Hermanson, 18, 7900 block of Greenwood Court, Terre Haute, booked 2:39 a.m. Minor consuming alcohol.

Shannon J. Combs, 33, 800 block of West Posey Street, Brazil, booked 3:58 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Melissa S. Meeks, 33, 100 block of West Miller Avenue, West Terre Haute, booked 3:59 a.m. Failure to appear (three counts).

Craig A. Baker, 26, 200 block of North Eighth Street, West Terre Haute, booked 10:31 a.m. Probation violation.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
