BRAZIL —
Police are investigating an apparent shooting death in Clay County south of Brazil.
The Indiana State Police, in a news release issued today, are asking people living in the area of Indiana 59 about a mile south of Brazil whether they saw or noticed anything out of the ordinary near a residence in the 7000 block of North Indiana 59 Tuesday evening.
A male, age 33, was discovered deceased on the back porch of the home late Tuesday night. He had suffered what police believe was a gunshot wound.
The state police said foul play is not suspected at this time, but a complete investigation is under way including ISP detectives and the Clay County Sheriff’s Department.
