Drowning death of 3-year-old Dana boy under investigation


DANA — The drowning death of a 3-year-old Dana boy remains under investigation by the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Department.

James B. Androuski was found in an in-ground pool at a residence in Dana about 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Det. Michael Phelps reported. The child was taken to Union Hospital of Clinton then airlifted via Lifeline helicopter to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. He died Sunday morning.

An autopsy to determine the cause of death was conducted Monday by the Marion County Coroner’s Office. Results of the examination were pending Monday evening.
