SEELYVILLE — [Updated 4:45 p.m.]
A dump truck clipped the driver’s side rear panel of a Vigo County School Corp. school bus just before 3 p.m. today, according to a Tribune-Star staff photographer and reporter at the accident scene on U.S. 40 east of Seelyville. All injuries appear to be minor.
The impact pushed the bus into a front yard, where it remained upright.Two children walked off the bus and one was lowered down from the bus on a back board. Four children were taken to the hospital, according to Superintendent Dan Tanoos.
Responders include Indiana State Police, Vigo County Sheriff's Department, the Seelyville Fire Department and TransCare.
