Vigo County Jail Log: March 5, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Monday

Deena R. Hancock, 25, 3000 block of Dean Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:13 a.m. Probation violation and failure to appear.

Joseph A. Demma, 30, 3500 block of Lancaster Road, Springfield, Ill. Booked 10:55 a.m. Probation violation (two counts).

Elijah B. Oglesby, 29, 2200 block of South Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:46 a.m. Failure to appear (three counts).

Anthony Carpton, 20, 8400 block of South Colfax Avenue, Chicago. Booked 2:11 p.m. Pointing a firearm, intimidation and resisting law enforcement.

Christopher Cyre, 38, 7100 block of Morningstar Court, Terre Haute. Booked 3:54 p.m. Child exploitation, child solicitation and child pornography.

Alyssa M. Joslin, 31, 6800 block of Loretta Court, Avon. Booked 4:46 p.m. Failure to appear (three counts).

Larry M. Faulkner, 30, no address, Terre Haute. Booked 5:08 p.m. Battery-police, resisting law enforcement (two counts) and criminal trespassing.

Zachary L. Critchlow, 22, 2200 block of Liberty Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 6:11 p.m. Probation violation (two counts).

Tuesday

Johnnie Butler, 40, 300 block of North 14th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:23 a.m. Failure to appear (three counts).

Roy W. Stierwalt, 45, 2500 block of North 13th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:07 a.m. Battery-domestic.

David Wayne Pegg, 32, 10400 block of Robertson Road, Terre Haute. Booked 5:05 a.m. Public intoxication.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
