A two-vehicle accident in Seelyville sent four people to the hospital on Tuesday morning.
The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department reports that a westbound Ford Taurus had stopped to make a left turn into a daycare center when the Ford was rear-ended by a Chevrolet Malibu.
A witness told police that the driver of the Malibu did not apply brakes before the collision.
Taurus driver Brandi Daughterty of Terre Haute and her two children were transported to Union Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Malibu driver Ann Hood of Terre Haute was transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for treatment of neck pain.
The highway was closed for cleanup for about an hour after the 7:27 a.m. accident.
