WEST TERRE HAUTE —
The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that U.S. 150 in West Terre Haute will be closed at the railroad tracks on Monday for railroad repairs and resurface work. CSX Railroad will be working on the crossing. U.S. 150 is scheduled to reopen on Friday.
The detour follows U.S. 150 north to Pennington Road to Indiana 63 south to U.S. 41 south and back to U.S. 150. Traffic traveling in the opposite direction will use the same detour in reverse.
INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a construction zone.
