I-70 project to close Indiana 39 westbound ramps for resurfacing

Exit 59 ramp will close Friday evening

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the resurfacing project on I-70 will close the westbound ramps at Indiana 39, Exit 59, beginning Friday evening to mill and resurface the ramps. Crews plan the following schedule for closures:

• Oct. 12, 7 p.m. - 10 a.m. on Oct. 13, westbound I-70 exit ramp to Indiana 39

• Oct. 14, 7 p.m. - 10 a.m. on Oct. 15, Indiana 39 on ramp to westbound I-70

This project was awarded to Rieth-Riley for $7.7 million. This project will have 11-foot lane restrictions on the interstate in the area the contractor will be working. This project is scheduled for completion by Nov. 15, 2012.
