TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Wednesday

Dustin B. Kent, 27, 900 block of South Ninth Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:12 a.m. Failure to appear.

Stephen Lenges, 60, 200 block of North Sumner Avenue, West Terre Haute, booked 1:48 p.m. Violation of no contact order.

Choise E. Tools, 36, 14000 block of La Salle Street, Dolton, Ill., booked 2:41 p.m. Dealing cocaine or narcotic, maintaing a common nuisance, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.

James M. Tabor, 30, 1700 block of North 12th Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:55 p.m. Habitual traffic violator and resisting law enforcement.  

Richard L. Stoelting, 50, 2200 block of North 14 1/2 Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:39 p.m. Failure to appear.

Tranondus O. Brock, 30, 200 of block of Anderson Lane, Coldwater, Miss. booked 5:36 p.m. Court order.

Phillip A. Foster, 37,  2200 block of Fifth Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 8:06 p.m. Failure to appear.

Kristopher W. Bunting, 35, 400 block of South 17th, Terre Haute, booked 8:49 p.m. Possession of paraphernalia, resisting law enforcement and failure to appear.

Tabitha M. Batchelor, 34, 2300 block of Locust Street, Terre Haute, booked 9:01 p.m. Failure to appear.

Troy E. Fagin, 41, 2300 block of Locust Street, Terre Haute, booked 9:13 p.m. Failure to appear.

Thursday

 Bryan E. Helt III, 31, 2600 block of North 11th Street, Terre Haute, booked 12:09 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Cory D. Kline, 23, 800 block of South 16th Street, Terre Haute, booked 12:59 a.m. Failure to appear.

Jeffrey T. Harvey, 25, 100 block of West Wheeler Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 3:33 a.m. Operating while intoxicated and possession marijuana.

Jami M. Busbin, 42, 5300 block of North County Road 850 East, Poland, booked 8:22 a.m. Probation violation.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
