Vigo County Jail Log: Sept. 10, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Friday

Ray A. Creasey, 53, 2000 block of 23 1/2 Drive, Terre Haute, booked 1:40 a.m. Battery-police, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Phillip A. Grimsley, 22, 2300 block of North 26th Street, Terre Haute, booked 5:29 a.m. Criminal trespass, battery-by body waste and intimidation.

James Taylor Jr., 25, 2300 block of Miller Drive, Terre Haute, booked 10:09 a.m. Bond revocation (two counts).

Timmy Sanders, 24, 2600 block of Shirley Drive, Indianapolis, booked 10:48 a.m. Child molesting, court order and contributing to the delinquency.  

Jamal N. Mayes, 18, 800 block of Matterhorn Court, Crown Point, booked 4:08 p.m. Criminal trespass.

Graylon D. Bell, 45, 2600 block of Fenwood Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 7:15 p.m. Court order (two counts).

 John C. Summerlot, 25, 5600 block of South Morris Place, Terre Haute, booked 8:30 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

 John E. Johnson, 24, 100 block of North West Second Street, Carbon, booked 10:50 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Saturday

Curtis W. Gillie, 29, 400 block of Poplar Street, West Terre Haute, booked 12:54 a.m. Failure to appear.

Laura  McGhee, 32, under the 100th block of South Wolfenberger, Sullivan, booked 12:57 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

William Presnell, 26, 3100 block of Beech Street, Terre Haute, booked 1:16 a.m. Battery-domestic and failure to appear.

Jessica L. Buchannon, 24, 3100 block of North Beech Street, Terre Haute, booked 1:22 a.m. Battery-domestic.

Kendel M. Orlando, 27, 2300 block of South 25th Street, Terre Haute, booked 1:30 a.m. Failure to appear and possession of marijuana.

Crystal M. Thompson, 30, 1600 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 10:01 a.m. Driving while suspended.

Keaton M. Shahadey, 18, 1900 block of Cobblestone Way, Terre Haute, booked 1:27 p.m. Theft and receiving stolen property.

Dorothea L. Wills, 49, 2200 block of Fourth Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 7:29 p.m. Driving while suspended.

Laurence D. Jones, 21, 1100 block of East Merrill Street, Hammond, booked 8:26 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.   

Clarence Brant, 45, 7200 block of North 32nd, Terre Haute, booked 11:01 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Charles K. Corn, 45, 1200 block of North Fourth Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:52 p.m. Battery-aggravated.

Sunday

Emily Hardy, 20, 300 block of Circle Turn, Terre Haute, booked 1:13 a.m. Minor consuming alcohol.  

Madeline V. Hardy, 19, 300 block of Circle Turn, Terre Haute, booked 1:14 a.m. Possession of marijuana/hash and minor consuming alcohol.  

Joseph R. Shirley, 19, 100 block of William Street, Vincennes, booked 1:46 a.m. Minor consuming alcohol.    

Ralph W. Buxton, 41, 1200 block of Dawn Drive, Terre Haute, booked 5:53 a.m. Failure to appear.

Kirstie E. Russell, 43, under the 100th block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute, booked 2:45 p.m. Indecent exposure.

Cordell M. Wells, 22, 1400 block of Third Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 4:13 p.m. Residential entry and failure to appear.

William D. Ditto, 57, 1300 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 8:02 p.m. Probation violation.

Angelita M. Mays, 32, 1600 block of Country Walk Court, Terre Haute, booked 8:32 p.m. Failure to appear.

William L. Pitts, 39, 200 block of South Ninth, West Terre Haute, booked 9 p.m. Nonsupport of a child and possession of marijuana.

Monday

Shane D. Snodgrass, 30, 9700 block of North Beech Place, New Goshen, booked 12:15 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
