Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Wednesday

Janelle Williams, 37, 1400 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:27 a.m. Violation of no contact order.

Jennifer Branch, 30, 9800 block of South Power Place, Terre Haute. Booked 3:08 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Kevin S. Hicks, 54, 2500 block of North Euclid Place, West Terre Haute. Booked 7:21 p.m. Public intoxication.

Adam L. Shelton, 35, 7900 block of U.S. 40, Terre Haute. Booked 8:21 p.m. Battery-domestic.

Zachary L. Mills, 26, 4600 block of North Lafayette Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:19 p.m. Failure to appear.

Thursday

Justin D. Roacho, 26, 1400 block of North 15th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:50 a.m. Failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
