Wabash Valley cooling shelters

The following cooling centers are in operation:

Vigo County

• Red Cross of the Wabash Valley, 700 S. Third St., Terre Haute. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. today and Friday.

• Salvation Army, 234 S. Eighth St., Terre Haute. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. through Monday.

Sullivan County

• The Gathering Place, an annex of the First Christian Church, at 103 N. Broad St., Sullivan. 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

Greene County

• Bloomfield Community Building/JC Building on North Lincoln Drive, Bloomfield. 1-6 p.m. today and Friday.

• Lawton Street Christian Church, 315 S. Lawton St., Jasonville. 1-6 p.m. today and Friday.

• Saron United Church of Christ, 440 First NE, Linton. 1-6 p.m. today and Friday

Putnam County

• Putnam County Hospital lobby, 1542 S. Bloomington St., Greencastle, during daylight hours today and Friday.
