Staff report

TERRE HAUTE — Authorities continue to search for a suspect in the Monday morning robbery at the Old National Bank on Wabash Avenue in downtown Terre Haute.

Terre Haute Police released the video of the suspect, who handed a note demanding cash to a bank teller around 10:14 a.m.

The suspect did not display a weapon, though his note did say that he possessed a weapon, police said.

The exact amount of money taken is not being released by police or bank officials.

Temporarily shut down following the robbery, the bank reopened for business at 2 p.m. Monday.

The suspect is described as a white male about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 145 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes and was wearing a dark-colored, long-sleeved polo shirt with dress pants and brown shoes.

After getting the money, he exited the west side of the bank and headed south on Seventh Street before turning east on Ohio Street. The man was carrying a large blue duffle-type bag with a long zipper.
