Vigo County Jail Log: Nov. 29, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Wednesday

Ryan P. Gallagher, 22, 700 block of Redbud Lane, Greenwood, booked 9:42 a.m. Strangulation and battery.

Jeremy D. Gibson, 39, 1400 block of South Sixth Street, Terre Haute, booked 9:43 a.m. Probation violation and escape.

Nicholas J. Cooper, 19, 3500  block of Clay Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 12:35 p.m. Disorderly conduct.

Richard W. Fagg, 23, 1700 block of Lafayette Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 2:30 p.m. Contempt of court.

Katherine Y. Davis, 20, 1600 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 3:47 p.m. Failure to appear and driver never licensed.

Julianna M. Barr, 24, 200 block of Vanburen Boulevard, Terre Haute, booked 4:28 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Manuel D. Akers, 49, 1100 block of North Seventh Street, Clinton, booked 5:12 p.m. Resisting law enforcement (two counts), criminal recklessness and habitual traffic violator.

David D. Featherston, 42, 2200 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 5:32 p.m. Resisting law enforcement.

Maurice L. Martin, 33, 2200 First Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 6:05 p.m. Criminal trespassing and battery.

Charles J. Roberts, 43, 3800 block of North 25th Street, Terre Haute, booked, 8:10 p.m. Habitual traffic violator.

Ashley N. Hines, 23, 1300 block of North Fourth Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:11 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Brian L. Hatfield, 22, 1400 block of South 10th Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:38 p.m. Operating while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.

Deairra M. Blakely, 21, 1300 block of South 13 1/2 Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:39 p.m. Resisting law enforcement, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Patrick N. Johnson, 24, 800 block of North 12th Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:03 p.m. Failure to appear.

Thursday

Daniel R. Kupke, Jr., 31, 500 block of South Center Street, Terre Haute, booked 1:18 a.m. Failure to appear.

Jeanna Johnson, 33, 3000 block of South 11th Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:56 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.



Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
