Around the world and across time, people have been honoring mothers through various traditions and feasts.
This year, the Terre Haute Children’s Museum invites families to celebrate Mother’s Day with fun activities that pay tribute to mom’s unconditional love and dedication.
On Sunday, moms will receive free admission to the museum, with paid child’s admission. In addition, Museum guests can make Mother’s Day cards and watch a few short videos that celebrate moms.
There will also be a Mother’s Day scavenger hunt. The museum will be open from moon to 5 p.m. on Mother’s Day.
The Terre Haute Children’s Museum is at Eighth Street and Wabash Avenue in downtown Terre Haute. Regular admission is $7 for adults and children 2 and older, and admission is free for children up to 24 months. Museum members are also admitted for free.
