TERRE HAUTE —
Two juveniles were taken into custody Saturday evening after an alleged escape from Gibault Services.
According to a news release issued by the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department, four officers were dispatched to the facility on U.S. 41 South in response to a report that two female juveniles had escaped.
Deputies located the juveniles at 6700 S. Carlisle St., several blocks south of the facility, and a foot pursuit ensued before they were captured and transported to the Vigo County Juvenile Detention Center.
The individuals in question are minors and no further information was released.
