Vigo County Jail Log: June 27, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

Christopher B. Short, 26, 900 block of South Thorpe Place, West Terre Haute, booked 9:17 a.m. Probation violation.

Jonathon G. Hamilton, 28, 3000 block of Maple Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 1:16 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Alexandra Cooper, 19, 1700 block of Crawford Street, Terre Haute, booked 2:10 p.m. Probation violation.

Justin M. Wagle, 23, 3600 block of East County Road 300 West, Brazil, booked 2:42 p.m. Contempt of court.

Jorgio A. Lowe, 24, 1900 block of North 23rd 1/2 Drive, Terre Haute, booked 2:57 p.m. Court order.

Scott L. Sundquist, 24, 2900 block of Crumbar, Terre Haute, booked 3:48 p.m. Criminal trespass.

Shawnee Spillers, 47, 1700 block of North 25th Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:59 p.m. Public intoxication.

Wednesday

Michelle A. Williams, 42, 8300 block of East Hayne Road, Terre Haute, booked 1:25 a.m. Possession of methamphetamine (two counts) and failure to appear (two counts).   

Joseph E. Herrin, 40, 2400 bloc of Third Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 1:33 a.m. Failure to appear and possession of paraphernalia.  

Yovani V. Morales, 30, 400 block of North 14th Street, Terre Haute, booked 6:20 a.m. Failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
