Vigo County Jail Log: June 26, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Monday

Jeremy J. Lumsdon, 24, 2800 block of East Morris Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 11:25 a.m.   Probation violation.

Carla Majors, 49, 2000 block of North Fifth Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 11:45 a.m. Failure to appear.

Daniel J. Mcneill, 23, 2300 block of Prarie Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 11:47 a.m. Theft.

Rachel L. Rudisel, 34, 800 block of North Fifth Street, Terre Haute, was booked at 12:13 p.m.  Court order.

Matthew J. Thomas, 25, 400 block of Oak Street, Terre Haute, booked 12:34 p.m. Theft.

Chad R. Hall, 35, 3100 block of Princeton Drive, Terre Haute, booked 1:12 p.m. Court order.

William J. Murr, 40, 1600 block of Oak Street, Terre Haute, booked 1:24 p.m. Probation violation.

Lindsey L. Lawler, 30, 1200 block of Ash Street, Terre Haute, was booked 1:34 p.m. Failure to appear.

Chad T. Mccullough, 26, 600 block of Barton Avenue, Terre Haute, was booked 1:55 p.m.  Probation violation.

Joseph T. Compton Jr., 48, no address given, booked 2:36 p.m. Operating while intoxicated and driving while suspended.

Shakeilia D. Barker, 26, 2400 block of Tippecanoe Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:52 p.m. Neglect of a dependant.

Michael T. Ambs, 37, 400 block of South 16th Street, Terre Haute, booked 5:12 p.m. Failure to appear.

Alan M. Strader, 19, 7600 block of East Devonald Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 6:16 p.m. Battery and visiting a common nuisance.

Brooke Harris, 21, 100 West Paris Avenue, West Terre Haute, booked 6:42 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Waldemar Rodriguez, 58, under the 100th block of South 19th, Terre Haute, booked 7:01 p.m.   Battery-domestic.

John L. Burskey, 47, 2400 block of South 11th 1/2 Street, Terre Haute, booked 8:58 p.m. Battery-domestic.

Charles Perry, 26, 300 block of South Fourth, Terre Haute, booked 9:57 p.m. Criminal recklessness.

Gregory Lacey, 42, 8700 block of East Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 10:22 p.m. Public intoxication and disorderly conduct.  

John L. Chilton, 47, 4400 block of Little John, Sarasota, Fla. booked 11:33 p.m. Probation violation.

Tuesday

Betty I. Switzer, 58, 1400 block of South 12th Street, Terre Haute, booked 12:17 a.m. Dealing methamphetamine and maintaing a common nuisance.  

Nicholas E. Gayso, 20, 3800 block of East Country Wood Road, Terre Haute, booked 1:47 a.m. Theft (two counts).

Donald Holmes, 32, 3300 block of South Fruitridge Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 2:34 a.m. Theft (two counts).

Patricia Kerins, 37, 2900 block of Jefferson, Terre Haute, booked 2:44 a.m. Battery and criminal mischief.  

David L. Orman, 26, 2900 block of Jefferson Street, Terre Haute, booked 6:33 a.m. Battery-domestic.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
