BID UNITED: Online auction benefits United Way of the Wabash Valley

BLOOMINGTON — On Sunday, Nov. 11, at 9 a.m., United Way of the Wabash Valley will kick off the fifth annual Bid United eight-day live online auction. The Bid United online marketplace will feature great merchandise and services from local businesses.

Using auction-style bidding, consumers can place bids on items, and if at the end of the auction they are the highest bidder, they win. All transactions will be processed online using secure payment methods or in-person at United Way of the Wabash Valley’s office.

Window-shopping can begin today at www.bidunited.org. Don’t miss the chance to shop, bid and save, while helping United Way of the Wabash Valley.

Numerous packages are available to be bid on including autographed memorabilia, Nook Simple Touch Reader, fitness packages, fire pit, Pacers tickets, photography packages, 20 tons of driveway gravel, laser treatments, restaurant gift cards and more. The auction will end at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012.

Not only is this a tremendous opportunity to purchase featured items at unheard-of prices, but all proceeds benefit United Way of the Wabash Valley.
