Free carwash for all veterans, U.S. military members at any Mike’s Carwash on Veterans Day

All patrons will have opportunity to donate to DAV

Mike’s Carwash Inc. will honor those who have protected our country and fought for our freedoms with a free carwash on Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 11. All veterans and active military are encouraged to stop by any Mike’s Indiana location, including the Mike’s on U.S. 41 in Terre Haute.

In addition to the free carwashes, Mike’s will support Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Donation buckets will be at each location to raise money for the national organization.

“We all owe a great deal to our current and former military members for their sacrifice on our behalf,” said Bill Dahm, CEO of Mike’s. “We also want to help veterans who have been disabled by fighting for our freedom. We want to encourage our customers to be generous to DAV.”

“By making veterans a priority and giving customers the opportunity to support our nation’s heroes again this year, Mike’s Carwash continues a tradition of serving those who’ve served,” said Marc Burgess, executive director of DAV’s National Headquarters in Cold Spring, KY. “We helped 300,000 veterans nationwide last year and the generous team members and customers of Mike’s Carwash were a part of our mission.”

All of Mike’s 41 locations in Indiana and Ohio will offer the free carwash and the opportunity to support DAV. No military identification will be necessary. Mike’s Carwash is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Veterans Day.
