LINTON —
Police say investigators have found the truck that hit and seriously hurt a man and three children as they fished along a gravel road in southwestern Indiana.
Greene County Sheriff Terry Pierce says police hadn’t determined who was driving when the pickup ran into the group just after midnight Tuesday near Greene-Sullivan State Forest outside Linton.
Jessica Giles tells the Greene County Daily World (http://bit.ly/KZondb ) she was fishing with her fiancee Michael Delp, his nephew and two nieces and their mother when the truck came right at them.
Delp and the children were taken to Indianapolis hospitals.
Giles says Delp has a broken leg and spleen and kidney injuries. She says one of the children ages 8 through 11 has a broken collarbone while another needed surgery on both legs.
