TERRE HAUTE —
A public information meeting on the final two phases of the Indiana 641 bypass is scheduled for Tuesday in the Terre Haute South Vigo High School cafeteria, 3737 S. Seventh St.
An open house will start at 5 p.m. followed by a presentation at 6 p.m.
The meeting is to provide updates on the status of the project for phases III and IV.
Phase III extends from just northeast of Feree Road to east of Riley Road, and Phase IV runs from east of Riley Road to the Interstate 70 interchange with Indiana 46.
INDOT has already awarded a construction contract for Phase III.
During the open house, representatives of the Indiana Department of Transportation will be available to address questions, comments and concerns. Project maps, displays and project information handouts will be available for viewing throughout the evening.
