Testimony, evidence introduced in Musall murder trial

ROCKVILLE — A series of crime scene photos was introduced as evidence this morning during the fourth day of testimony in the Jeremy Musall murder trial in Parke County.

Sgt. Jason Owen of the Indiana State Police spent most of the morning on the witness stand, explaining photos of blood stains and spatters documented at the scene of death for Joseph Snow at Rocky Fork Lake in southeastern Parke County.

Musall was arrested Aug. 13, 2011, after police were notified in a 911 call that Musall was transporting Snow’s body in the trunk of his car, and intended to dump the body in Putnam County. Musall has been charged with two counts of felony murder, as well as two counts of burglary resulting in bodily injury, rape and kidnapping, all class-A felonies.

His trial began Monday in Parke Circuit Court, and is expected to continue into next week.
