The annual Fourth of July fireworks show in Brazil has been canceled due to the extremely hot, dry conditions and the Clay County burn ban now in effect.
The Rotary Club of Brazil, which hosts the fireworks display and the annual Fourth of July carnival at Forest Park, announced the decision today.
The Rotary Club said it hopes to reschedule the fireworks show after the area receives some rainfall.
The Rotary Club’s annual carnival at Forest Park, which began Thursday, will continue as previously scheduled through Wednesday, July 4.
