I-70 ramp to close

The westbound on-ramp to Interstate 70 from Indiana 59 south of Brazil will be closed for resurfacing most of Monday, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.

The ramp will close at 6 a.m. and reopen by 9 a.m., INDOT said.

The closure is part of a patch-and-resurface project from Indiana 46/U.S. 40 in Terre Haute to Indiana 59. The project, awarded to Wabash Valley Asphalt for $9.9 million, is scheduled for completion on June 30, 2013.

I-70 ramps to close

The Indiana Department of Transportation will close exit ramps to U.S. 231 from Interstate 70 for three hours at a time on Saturday.

The westbound exit ramp from I-70 to U.S. 231 is scheduled to be closed from 8 to 11 a.m. to replace traffic signal loops in the roadway. Then, the eastbound I-70 exit ramp to U.S .231 is scheduled to be closed between 1 and 4 p.m.

The closures are part of a $10.5 million resurfacing project on I-70 from U.S. 231 east to the Little Point exit. That project is scheduled for completion in mid-December.
