TERRE HAUTE —
One person was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital following a crash this
morning in western Vigo County.
The Vigo County Sheriff's Department reports that Ryan Starbuck of West
Terre Haute was driving south on Indiana 150 when his vehicle went off the
road and struck a tree.
The accident occurred at 9:12 a.m. south of Bolton Road.
Starbuck sustained a head injury and was transported via LifeLine medical
helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital. A condition update was not
available.
Responding to the scene were units from the West Terre Haute Police, Sugar
Creek and New Goshen fire departments, TransCare ambulance, and the
sheriff's department.
