TERRE HAUTE —
Joel R. Harbaugh of Terre Haute has been selected as the new executive director of the Union Hospital Foundation. His appointment begins Monday.
Union Hospital Foundation board of directors chairman Donald T. Scott announced Harbaugh’s hiring on Tuesday.
Harbaugh has served Indiana State University Foundation as interim vice president since 2003. His experience includes planned giving; major gift development; corporate and private foundation relations; athletic fundraising development; and stewardship.
While with the ISU Foundation, he was a member of the senior leadership team and the March On! campaign planning team.
Harbaugh is an ISU graduate with a bachelor’s in speech communication/public relations/journalism. He is completing a master’s in communication.
He also completed programs at the Midwest Trust School at Ohio University,; Cannon Financial Institute at Boston University; and National Planned Giving Institute at the College of William and Mary.
