Vigo County Jail Log: Jan. 16, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.



Monday

• Shelby L. Large, 21, 100 block of South First Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:31 a.m. Court order and escape.

• Amanda M. Julian, 33, 1900 block of North Ninth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:59 a.m. Failure to appear.

• James D. King, 27, 5900 block of Norwaldo Avenue, Indianapolis. Booked 12:16 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Julius R. Evans, 22, 2400 block of Cleveland Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:59 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

• James L. Riddle, 27, 1200 block of North Eighth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:27 p.m. Dealing cocaine or narcotics, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of marijuana/hash.

• David H. Kelley III, 34, 1600 block of South 12th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:52 p.m. Possession of marijuana/hash and visiting a common nuisance.

• Michael Harding, 27, 1400 block of South 11th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:56 p.m. Visiting a common nuisance.

• Sherman L. Taylor, 24, 9900 block of South Sixth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3 p.m. Dealing cocaine or narcotics, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of marijuana/hash.

• Jordan L. Tompkins, 23, 3200 block of North Julia Street, Milwaukee, Wis. Booked 3:36 p.m. Visiting a common nuisance.

• David A. Edwards, 37, 1100 block of South 24th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:05 p.m. Possession of methamphetamine and receiving stolen property.

• Crystal Catterson, 35, 2300 block of Spruce Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:15 p.m. Receiving stolen property.

• Joshawa A. Baugh, 23, 800 block of South Cruft Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:46 p.m. Failure to appear.

• William B. Bird, 20, Farmersburg. Booked 8:14 p.m. Criminal conversion.



Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
