LINTON —
Authorities in southwestern Indiana are seeking a driver who fled after plowing into a group near Greene-Sullivan State Forest, injuring four people.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department says it’s looking for a dark-colored pickup truck with a camper shell with damage to the front driver’s side and one headlight missing.
The Greene County Daily World reports that three children and one adult were seriously injured when they were hit late Monday near the state forest about 30 miles south of Terre Haute.
Some of those injured were flown by helicopter to hospitals in Indianapolis but details on their conditions weren’t immediately available.
