Vigo County Jail Log: Oct. 3, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

Crystal F. Pitts, 31, 2100 block of 23rd 1/2 Drive, Terre Haute, booked 9:39 a.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Martha L. Custer, 39, 800 block of Sixth Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 10:10 a.m. Probation violation.

David Heden, 28, 7800 block of Lakeside Court, Terre Haute, booked 11:05 a.m. Battery-domestic.

Jeremy J. Lumsdon, 24, 2800 block of East Morris Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 12:45 p.m. Probation violation.

Reese J. Williams, 27, under the 100th block of East Longridge Road, Terre Haute, booked 12:48 p.m. Probation violation.

Amanda S. Roberts, 30, 1400 block of Elm Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:26 p.m. Failure to appear.

Brittaney L. Orman, 20, 2300 block of West Woodland Avenue, West Terre Haute, booked 4:59 p.m.  Criminal trespass.

Christian J. Saylor, 19, 1500 block of Almond Avenue, North Vernon, booked 11:56 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
