Covenant Cooperative Ministry begins Summer Fan Club

TERRE HAUTE — Covenant Cooperative Ministry has partnered with Duke Energy and Walmart to launch the 2009 Summer Fan Club. A grant from the Duke Energy Foundation and an additional financial contribution from Walmart will enable CCM to purchase several box fans for distribution to families during the summer.

CCM will have a limited number of fans to distribute and financial contributions are needed to match funds provided through the Duke Energy grant and Walmart to expand the distribution. Electric box fans costs the ministry $15.50 each.

CCM’s Summer Fan Club distributes electric fans only to low-income families living on fixed income with small children, elderly (over 60), or those with proof of medical conditions. Distribution begins today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. while supplies last and is restricted to Vigo County only. For more information, call (812) 478-7700.
