West Terre Haute — Two teens reported minor injuries after a pickup truck slid off Old Paris Road near Graceland Avenue in Sugar Creek Township.
The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department reports that Dustin S. Denson, 16, of Paris, Ill., was driving a 1993 Chevrolet when he entered a curve in the road and the vehicle slid out of control. The truck went off the road and hit a Duke Energy utility pole.
Denson, who was wearing his seat belt, complained of chest pain at the scene. His passenger, Mallorie P. Young, 15, also of Paris, Ill., complained of leg pain. She was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
Damage was estimated at $5,000-$10,000.
