BLOOMFIELD — A Greene County man was arrested following a pursuit Tuesday afternoon on Old Farmers Ferry Road near Bloomfield.
Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Aaron Smith reported that deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call at the home of Jeffery Miller, 50, around 4:10 p.m.
Miller drove into the driveway and saw deputies, and then fled the scene in his vehicle. Miller led deputies on a short chase where Miller attempted to drive off the road. His vehicle became stuck on a hill. When he attempted to put it four-wheel drive, the vehicle rolled backward into Smith’s police vehicle. No injuries occurred.
Miller, who was nude when he was taken into custody, was transported by ambulance to the Bloomington Stress Center.
Assisting Smith at the scene were Highland Fire/Rescue, Greene County Ambulance and Deputy Chris McDonald.
