Facility plan update on Monday school board agenda
TERRE HAUTE — At Monday’s Vigo County School Board meeting, Deb Kunce of Schmidt Associates will present an update on the facility master plan.
The board will meet at 7 p.m. in the administration building, 686 Wabash Ave.
In other matters, the board will discuss a proposed revision to criteria for accepting transfer students from out-of-county.
The board will take action on employment agreements and handbook proposals for the following groups and individuals: administrative, administrative clerical, deputy superintendent, transportation, executive secretary, food service employees, superintendent’s contract, managerial employees and technical service employees.
All groups would receive salary/benefit packages that total 3.3 percent. The proportion going for salary versus benefits varies by employee group.
The superintendent’s current salary is $131,014. Under the proposal, the 3.3 percent compensation increase would go toward salary.
In a spotlight, Sondra Teffeteller will explain the activities of the League of Terre Haute.
