ROCKVILLE — Rockville Correctional Facility has resumed normal offender activity after being on lockdown status since the escape of a murderer on Aug. 4.
Prison Superintendent Julie Stout lifted the lockdown status at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Normal visiting hours resume today, and volunteer activities begin Monday.
Sara Pender, 29, was discovered to be missing Aug. 4 during a facility count. Pender was still at large as of Wednesday.
